1. Which Limesurvey version do you use?

2. Please switch on debug mode by adding the following line to your config.php file:
$debug = '1';

Are there any additional errors reported on top of the page?

3. Please upload a phpinfo file so we can take a look at your server configuration. Just put the following code into a file named phpinfo.php and upload it to your webserver:
< ?php phpinfo(); ? >
(Delete the spaces next to </> when copying the code.)
After uploading please post the link to the file.

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /limesurvey/common.php on line 126
Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in /limesurvey/classes/core/sanitize.php on line 209

The second error occurs 11 times!

I don't know if it is important, but when i start the template editor i allways receive two error messges:

Failed to copy print_ie_fix_6.css to new template directory
Failed to copy print_ie_fix_all.css to new template directory.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Seems like we have several problems here:

1. You are running a veerryy old version :-)

2. The problem might be related to a buggy PHp version. These translation bugs are long fixed. As a temporary solution try adding "$translationmode=1;" at your config.php file.

3. There are probably some permission problems at your setup as well.

I suppose the translationmode fix will solve your problem, you should still consider an update though.

@Mazi: Thank you for your help! I will try the temporary solution as soon as possible.

I had lots of problem with the installation / customizing of my current limesurvey version. Thus i'm afraid of installing a new version ;)

For testing you can set up a second system and use a different DB or DB prefix.

That's exactly what i did two days ago. There weren't any problems by going the step from 1.85+ to 1.91+ in the test environment. Last night i did the update on my production system: everything works fine! And the problems with missing permissions are also gone.

Thank you again for your help.
