Please help me structure a question so that only one radio button in an array can be selected. So only one (answer option + subquestion) is allowed. For example, the question is "how many people are in the group you will be travelling with ?"

I am sure that you can do something with Javascript here.

But to be honest, I would split this up into the two questions it actually is. By the way, what if someone travels without children? (may not be relevant because it is a trip specifically with children, but I thought I mention it).

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Follow the advice from holch. Two questions are lot better for you and the respondent. Better to read and more intuitive.
