Hello,

I am using LimeWire for making some quizzes. It is a pretty nice software to use for this purpose. Unfortunately to have all the features I need I had to use a rather old version (1.86), in particular I am using these two feature:
1. Associate to each choice a different assessment value, or score (for example 0 to a wrong one, and 1 point each to two possible correct answeres).
2. Define the maximum number of answer the user can give to a question.

As said these two features are buggy or not implemented in most recent version. Do you plan to make a newer version available with the desired behavior?

Moreover I noticed it is possible to assign only integer assessment values, it would be nice to have the possibility to assign any float value.

Thank you
Paolo Pantaleo

I have never used assessments, so I cannot comment on that.

but I do know that it is possible to define the maximum (and minimum) answers you allow in a mulitple choice question.

and it is LimeSurvey not Wire :)

The only assessment difference between 1.8x and the current 1.9x version is the fact that at the latest version you can only assign a score of "1" for each multiple choice answer question.
This is a design problem that will hopefully be solved at the upcoming Limesurvey 2.0 version because we will use a different apraoch for handling assessments then, see docs.limesurvey.org/Expression+Manager#M...anager_Functionality and search the page for assessments.

Np, you are not the first one calling it "LimeWire" :-)
