Hi Team,

i am often designing surveys with a large list of items that I put in a yes/no/uncertain or similar matrix. If the participant chooses e.g., 'yes', there should be the option to elaborate a bit on the answer (by entering some text). The layout I would like to achieve is shown in layout.jpg (just a short and easy example question).

These types of contingency questions are not easily done using LS. One has to end the matrix question...add a text question with a condition, continue the matrix with a new matrix question.

I know that it's very hard to add new question types at the moment but I would like to ask your opinion on the possibility of extending the existing 'array' question type. UI-wise, I could imagine something similar to what is shown in sq_menu.jpg. But the UI will be my least problem, I guess.

So, do you think it's too complicated with 1000 files and code sections that need to be changed or do you think it's worth a try for 2.05?

Thanks
Mirko
