Time limit on question defaults to one second

No matter what value I place in the Time Limit box, the question only appears for a second, long enough to see the timer hit zero and disappear. The limit appears as whatever value I enter (e.g. 240) when viewing/editing the question screen, but continues to expire after 1 second when I test the survey.

Could this be solved by making the survey active? Or am I missing something?

Question type? Template? LS version?

Apologies for omitting that. Text display questions, edited Default Template (simply larger text), and version is "Version 2.05+ Build 141229"

Hmm, can't reproduce that. Do you have any other scripts running on that page or JavaScript errors in the console?

No, neither. I've encountered changes not taking effect straight away before (I did at one stage set the time limit quite low, maybe 5 seconds) where logging in and out solved it previously, but does nothing now.

...or try it in another browser.

Can you activate a test survey?
