Undefined variable QCode was created by dvpaul
Hi,
I'm using limesurvey 2.05,
I created a simple survey, 1 group 2 questions:
Q1: type Multiple choice, with 2 values, Q1_1, Q1_2
Q2: type equation containing {Q1.question}
answer: Q1 is undefined.
Q1_1.question works, but I get the label of the 1st choice
I tried that.Q1 without success.
How can I access Q1.question?
It works with questions without subquestions (Yes/No)
Thanks for your help!
Paul

You cannot access a multiple-choice question as a whole. You need to access each sub-question - so, {Q1_1} or {Q1_2}. These will return "Y" or null depending on whether the sub-question is checked.

Ahhh, you are trying to access the question text! I had something similar a while ago. I am not sure if I was able to solve it, but it is possible that this is a 'bug' in EM, because for all other (?) questions you can access the question text.

Tomatoe - Tomato.
Hahahaha, OK, I won't discuss denominations. Let's say something isn't working as it is supposed to.

It's the reason it's not a bug.
A mis-feature .
