In the Radio List or Multiple Choice question, I can't specify the answer code for the "Other" option. Why is that?

And I have another question, why the "Other" comment field in the Multiple Choice question is always mandatory?

If you need to define your "Other" code, just add it as an answer and don't use the Option "Other".

You can work around the mandatory comment field by using a "Multiple choice with comments" type and hide unwanted text inputs with CSS or JavaScript.
