Card sorting workaround was created by Izabela
Hello, I would be very grateful if I receive any help with this.
I tried to use the following link manual.limesurvey.org/Workarounds:_Manip...ascript#Card_Sorting and followed instructions. But it seems when am testing survey that this solution is not working for me at all. It is like it does not see any additional script and the question is same as a default.
looks like on picture attached:

Yes, JavaScript is enabled. Coz if I add to the question script Test and than I run the survey the window Test is popping out.
And I am using the newest version available on website.
However, I thought that it maybe problem that the file template is in wrong place or some issue with database?

Did you try with the demo survey and template provided?

Have it only as localhost so you won't be able to access it
That is what I did when I wanted to try the workaround example with card sorting.
I downloaded the demo template and demo survey. I added the file demo template to the folder where are all lime survey templates and than I imported the demo survey in Lime survey.
And when I use in Demo survey this script:
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
$(document).ready(function() {
alert("Test!");
});
</script>
and I run the survey the test window appears. However, if i exchange it for the script for card sorting and run the survey than nothing happens and question looks like on attached above picture.
Also I realized than if I wanna change the template of the survey the DEMO template is not appearing there. So maybe I should put it in different place or the database is not working properly ?
I don't know how to find Error, because my knowledge in this area is just basic.

Ah, the demo template needs to be placed in yourLimeSurveyRoot/upload/templates/. Then you will see it in the drop-down for selecting templates.

Hello,
Is there anyone who may know why it is not working even within the file given as an example?
Still wasn't able to solve that problem
