Change domain name was created by davideperi
Hi, I have LS 2.05+ installed on apache web server.
I have to change the hostname from
domain.xxx to otherdomain.xxx
Do I need to change some configuration inside LS or simply I can change the ServerName variable inside the apache configuration?
I check inside /application/config/config.php and there is no variables that define the main domain used by LS.
Thanks for your tip.
Regards
Davide

I don't think you need to do anything with LimeSurvey.

Limesurvey doesn't store the domain (except for email settings, etc). So in theory you could use the same installation with various different domains, as long as the server and DNS is configured correctly. So there should be no problem at all (as long as the database is on localhost or the domain / IP for the mysql connection doesn't change).
