AM I STUPID TO CALCULATE THE GROUP SUM? was created by nicegirl
there are 15 questions in group. i want to get these 10 questions assessment sum.
{sum(q1,q2,q3....q10)}.
if i move q3 to another group, i will change the expression sytax again. am i stupid?
is there a quick way to get the sum of group???

0. Please adjust your forum post to not use capital letters at the heading. Thanks.

1. The EM syntax will NOT change if you move a question to another group because calculations are based on question codes only.

2. To make use of the assessment value assign to an answer, use syntax q1.value (see manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager#Access_to_Variables ).

3. There is no feature to calculate the sum of a group but to add all question codes at your calculation equation.
