Custom <Answer Table> for Notification Email was created by dweisser
Hello all,
I have read the posts about changing the core .php files to accomplish this task. I don't want to go that direction because first, I'm not a coder and second, an update will wipe the newfangled code.
I would like to be able to print the question's text as well as their answer text to an html formatted email. As is immediately apparent, INSERTANS gets me half way there.
Upon further reflection, I've come to think that current Lime architecture allows me to accomplish this task by:
1) designing a survey,
2) creating hidden textdisplay questions whose answers are equal to the survey's respondent-facing questions, and
3) using INSERTANS to both insert the Question Text (as stored in the hidden answers) and the respondent's Answers into the email notification and formatting appropriately.
Obviously this is a lot of work and a lot to keep organized. I was hoping some Limey out there had a better solution.
Thanks for your attention,
Nebraska D

Ahh, great news that Expression Manager can accomplish this, but despite having read through all the documentation - I don't see how to get the question's text into the email.
Any chance you might describe a short example? In any case, I thank you for your time and attention.

I thank you. I saw this.
I was still doing something wrong.
I did not have unique qcodes in my survey. Duplicate qcodes cause a syntax error in the email.
So I have Questions and Answer - I still fail to see where the Group's text is stored.
Thanks for sticking with me.

No group text with EM.
To help you, need to know exactly what you do and what is exactly your problem.
Here, you don't explain what you put on mail, maybe a lss file with some try is a best idea.
