Hello everybody,
I experience the same difficulties as tbudelli when inserting the script of tpartner into the source of the array question. Did anybody find a solution to that problem? The comment question appears next to the matrix question, but the input fields don´t show up, just as you see in the pdf (I know, not the most beautiful solution but the snipping tool is not working...).
Help would be grate!!

What LimeSurvey version are you using?

Do you have any JavaScript errors?

I installed LS just a couple of days ago, it´s the latest (2.00+). The alert you posted earlier is working fine, too...

jupo, can you attach an export of a survey containing that group and your code?

tpartner wrote: The workaround you was developed to display multiple question types in an array format, not simply add a text input to the rows.

Sample survey attached:

File Attachment:

File Name: limesurvey...7621.lss
File Size:20 KB

The example works fine on LS Versión 2.05+ Build 140902, only need to change:

$('.subquestions-list thead tr th:last', thisQuestion).text($('.questiontext', nextQuestion).text());
to
$('.subquestions-list thead tr th:last', thisQuestion).text("my text");

to show on citronade template.

But I need to add an extra text question and no way to do it.

Try to add a new var nextQuestion = $(thisQuestion).next('div[id^="question"]'); but cant solve it.

Can you help me?

I've got a similar problem, and thanks to this thread I have a (somewhat) working solution. However, my question has lots and lots of subquestions on the Y-Scale, and I was wondering how to make this work with Repeating Headers for the Text question (i.e. the second question whose answer fields get pulled into the first).

I haven't been able to figure this out, but surely there's a way in the script to repeat that <th> field every 10 times that a <td> field occurs, right?

tpartner? Any ideas?

There are several concepts and scripts presented in this extended thread. Can you please be more specific about what you want to achieve and what you have done?

Or perhaps your other post solves your problem?

Yeah, our problem has been solved. Your code works great, but we realized we were trying to gather too much data on a single page for given our server setup. A 100 x 5 matrix input was too much for us to handle.

Thanks for the reply!

Hi,

I tried limesurvey_survey_234438.lss and it works fine.
Unfortunately, I don't need the two Cols of the Matrix. How can I hide them?
Thanks

borste
