Implementing a frame was created by fortyfoursixteen
Hi,
I'm interested in adding a survey to our video production company's website, but want to build it into an already existing page as an embed? Is Lime Survey the simplest way to do that?
Many thanks!

[Moderated] I deleted the link to the website, as it made this post look like a well made spam attempt and is not really necessary for the question.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Yes, LimeSurvey works when embedded as an iframe.

Hi,
I have the same question. I have survey hosted on limesurvey. Could you provide code example for embedding this survey to my web site?

Hi, Joffm
Thank you for quick response. I duplicated this code on my page and replaced just src URL, but result is just blank page. May be the problem that my survey not deployed on my hosting. I use limesurvey default hosting. I.e. user URL is not like " www.myserver.de/survey/index.php/admin/s...view/surveyid/487655 " but some like " myname.limequery.com/993854 ".
It is possible to embed survey without deploy on my server?
If answer is "yes" then whether I use correct URL for embedding ?
Thank you in advance

Hi, andrey,
please refer to a HTML manual about the use of iframes.
E.g.:
webdesign.about.com/od/iframes/a/aaiframe.htm

As you saw, this code snippet referred to the embedding of the admin part of limesurvey.
If you want to insert the survey itself, you use the code which is displayed in LS in the "survey summary" as "survey-url"

What happens if you just embed this Youtube-Video?
<iframe name="frame1" width="500" height="200" src=" www.youtube.com/embed/X4t0JxiBeO0 " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

Best regards
Joffm

Hi, Joffm
Unfortunately HTML manual does not help because there is no answer on question why I got a blank white frame on my page.
My temporary dumb test survey with 1 test question located in pletenev.limequery.com/993854?lang=ru
This url displayed in my short survey description page on admin panel. I hope it is what you mean as "code which is displayed in LS in the "survey summary" as "survey-url"
Experiment with your youtube video displayed 404 Error inside frame. I don't understand the reason because url of this video opens perfectly in separate browser window. Tried under chrome and MS Edge. Result is the same. May be screenshot with page code will provide some guess?

Hi, Joffm

Problem has been resolved. Thank you for your time and help!
Firstly I have added "http://" to your example with youtube and it worked.
Then I have replaced src url with my survey url and it worked too.
Hallelujah! :)

To moderator: You can remove my previous post with screenshot because it is obsolete and I am unable to remove it by myself. Thank you.
