I am trying to use a quotas to screen out respondents to my survey. I am using a token table for this survey.
The first question (simple radio button) is set with a quota of 0 for one of the responses so that if that response is picked the respondent is kicked out of the survey.
The screening process works, however, cases that are screened out are NOT marked as Q in the completion field and respondents can take the survey again.

Is there a bug? What am I doing wrong? Is there some other way to screen out people with a token table that I am not aware of?

Thank you!

That does sound like a bug. Are you using the latest version?

OK, I created a test survey on the demo site and it looks like there is a bug. When the token table is up it doesn't mark the cases that are beyond the quota as Q in the token table and they can retake the survey. I tired this with the quota set to 0 and then with the quota set to 1.

This is my survey on the demo site:
TestSurveyRaCMJS (ID 527612)

So it looks like this IS in fact a bug. I am assuming this is not going to get fixed in the next week. Any other creative solutions for showing alternate end pages for the survey for people who get kicked out in the first initial process?

You never know. Create a bug report and if it is something simple it gets often fixed quickly.

Especially as this is nothing small, but makes basically screening impossible.

Hi,

Bug reported : bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=10025

ANswer : not a bug

Your quota action is "Terminate survey with warning", then user is allowed to click "Previous" and not submit the quota, if user is allwed to update answers : then token user must have the same ability. Use "Terminate survey" fix your issue.

The sentence is unclear : we have to fix it. Something like :
"Allow update answers" or something like that.

Got it. Thank you for clarifying how this works. Something about the phrasing of the instructions was confusing for me. Perhaps it should be clarified that "terminate with warning" means "terminate and allow to change answer".

Anyway, this solves my problem, thank you!
