Have a look at the survey logic file. There it will show you how to access the subquestions. As far as I recall it uses "_" and not ".".

You're not doing anything wrong. As far as I know, there is currently no way in expression manager to get the sub-question text (which may be considered a bug or a mossing feature). QCode_SQCode.question doesn't work.

Does the if statement work with anything else? Just put a plain text instead and see if it works.

A long shot, but try putting G06Q01_SQ05.question in an equation question and then use the equation question code in th IF statement.

Yes, that's what I meant.QCode_SQCode.question actually does print the subquestion for the array, it just doesn't work inside the if statement
