Optional questions after submission without tokens? was created by nellwalker
Hi
I am trying to create an optional extra set of questions from the submission page of a short survey.
I have made another survey in Lime and placed the link to that survey on the confirmation page that appears after the initial survey has been submitted, and I uploaded the same participant list to that survey, and initialized tokens for that list. The extra survey asks for tokens, but the user won't know their tokens. I just want this extra survey to be a generic survey, it doesn't have to be secure. I have tried just placing the survey link there without uploading a list or creating tokens but that doesn't appear to allow the respondent access to the survey.
Is there a way of linking this separate survey to the original survey so that there is no need for tokens and the user can just click through a generic survey link to do a couple more questions?
thank you!
Narelle

If the second survey is activated and does not have tokens enabled, respondents should be able to click through with a simple link in the end message of survey 1.

Thank you!
I realized later that afternoon after much testing that if I didn't generate the tokens for the second survey respondents can go through to that freely.
cheers
