We are proud to annouce the new beta3 release of the upcoming 1.90 LS1 version. We are now approaching a stable phase with this release as most serious bugs have been wiped out by a tremendous effort of the  team: more than 20 bugs were fixed, and 4 new translation updates have been committed. We'd like to thank all contributors who have made this version even more stable: our support guys who take care of your reported issues in the forum and qualify the tickets in the bugtracker, our developers, our translators and of course our faithful users who are testing and reporting issues. As you already know, 1.90 comes with a great new set of very powerful features and serious user-friendly improvements to the GUI. if you haven't done it yet, it is now time to install this beta3 version and discover these new features and if you find any strange behaviour, please give us feedback so that we can fix them, you are welcome to post tickets to our bugtracker. After 2 more weeks of intensive care (=bug fixing) to the last beta version we are happy to announce the first release candidate of LimeSurvey 1.90! Now it is your time to prove that there are no more bugs left :-). Please read the change log and download it now. Ah, and don't forget to report any issue you might encounter to our bug tracker.

With LimeSurvey version 1.90 being available on LimeService for quite some time now we are now reviving a promotion on LimeService.com we ran earlier. If you send us your updated translation for LimeSurvey we will reward every translated string with one response on LimeService!For example: If you contribute a whole new language to LimeSurvey you can earn up to 2200 responses - that is more than 100 USD of value.Rules: Any language is elegible where the current translation status is below 95% (see the translation status page on limesurvey.org) You should at least have translated/corrected 100 language strings. You should be a native speaker of that language - please don't try to use any automated translation because people will notice a bad translation and so will we. All translations are automatically contributed to the LimeSurvey project under the GNU General Public license (Open source). So you are even doing something good for the LimeSurvey community. If you are interested to help us translating and to earn free responses do the following: Read the instructions how to update an existing language To avoid crossovers please the LimeService team know what language you intend to translate and the approximate date of submission. Submit your translation to the LimeService team so we can check it and credit your account accordingly. Of course you are always welcome to send us your updated translation if you don't want to use LimeService. An open source project lives by voluntary help. LimeSurvey and LimeService are looking forward to your participiation!
