We are collecting data in which randomization within groups of questions is important. We need to know what order was actually used for each person who answers the survey.

For example, if questions 1, 2, 3 and 4 were actually given to person A in the order 3, 1, 2, 4, we would want to have some record of the order 3, 1, 2, 4 used for person A.

I see the duration for each response, but cannot find a way to obtain the list of question ids in the oder that was actually delivered.

Any ideas for a workaround or script?

Thanks!

Easiest way is to have several questionaires with different orders and invite randomized. An other solution would be to have different orders within a survey (copy the question) and then use a random number to filter which question is shown.

Thanks for those ideas! Turns out I was able to put each question in a group and simply write self.gseq.

Sorry I put this under the wrong topic--I didn't notice until too late.
