World cloud

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Hi,

We have a user who would like to have word clouds generated in the statistics report.
Do you know if this feature exists (maybe a plugin) or the only way is to export the data and create the word cloud with another tool?

Thanks a lot,
Laurent

share filtered statistics

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Hi all,

is it possible (from the technical side) to share a link, which will show the internal statistics filtered?

Example: I open the statistics, change a few settings like "only 5 specific questions" and "show graphs" and then I would love to share this view with another user, who has permissions on this survey.
I could export it as PDF or Excel file and share it then, but I would love to send a link which will show the filtered version - this would be really awesome.
Is this a technical problem or just not implemented and a feature request?

Thanks

Surveys not coming through

Kategorie: Design issues

New to LimeSurvey. I have setup a simple survey, but I am not getting the surveys when the users fill them out. Would there be any setup I am missing? Where and how to I check the tables ? I have gone through the manual , I did not find anything specifically about the data part of accessing surveys after the surveys are submitted other than in the Statistics and downloading them from there. Please advise.

Solve problem: Incomplete bar charts in the statistics

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Hi all :)

I just had a look at the statistics of my survey and noticed that some bar charts are displayed incorrectly. Therefore the results can not be read.

Here you have an example. On the left you find a correctly displayed statistic and on the right a incorrectly displayed one. (each answer has been answered at least by one or two participants)

The statistics settings are the same for all questions:

At first I hoped that it was because of the length of the answer possibilities that the bar charts are displayed incorrectly but when I click at "export statistics" on the bottom of the statistics page, the exported images look exactly the same.

Does anyone know what´s the problem and can give me a tip on how to solve it?

Please find here the survey if it´s helpful for you.

Public statistics dashboard for client but not visible publicly

Kategorie: Design issues

Hi, tixeon,

in "submit.twig" you find:

{% if (aSurveyInfo.aCompleted.aPublicStatistics.show == true) %}
<!-- Link to Public statistics -->
<div class="{{ aSurveyInfo.class.submitwrapperdivb }}" {{ aSurveyInfo.attr.submitwrapperdivb }}>
<a href="{{ aSurveyInfo.aCompleted.aPublicStatistics.sUrl }}" title={{ aSurveyInfo.aCompleted.aPublicStatistics.sTitle }} class="{{ aSurveyInfo.class.submitwrapperdivba }}" {{ aSurveyInfo.attr.submitwrapperdivba }}>
{{ gT("View the statistics for this survey.") }}
</a>
</div>
{% endif %}

I think this is the part you want to remove.

Kind regards
Joffm

Public statistics dashboard for client but not visible publicly

Kategorie: Design issues

I am now using the hosted version of Limesurvey (Limesurvey Professional 3.15.9) and I want to set up a dashboard so that the client can see progress (without logging in) but this link is not promoted to survey respondents or the general public through the system landing page (survey.myURL.com).

In the past (older versions) I have done this by enabling public statistics and then removing the link to public statistics from the survey end page and system landing page within the template. However, in the latest version I can't find where to remove the scripts for these links to make it effectively hidden to the public (so I can still have the statistics URL active to send to the client).

Question: Where in the template do I find the script that adds the 'public statistics' link to the end page and the public system landing page so that I can remove it?

Save overall score for the statistics

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Hi,
already answered in your other question abour storing results.
Create questions of type equation. "eqTotalScore"

Here you have the question text
{sum(if(a2.NAOK == "A2",1,0),if(Q00003.NAOK == "A1",1,0),if(a99.NAOK == "A7",1,0),if(A13.NAOK == "A4",1,0),if(A3_SQ001.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ002.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ003.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ004.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ005.NAOK=="A2",1,0),if(a15.NAOK == "A1",1,0),if(a17.NAOK == "A2",1,0),if(b1_1.NAOK=="A3" AND b1_2.NAOK=="A4" AND b1_3.NAOK=="A5" AND b1_4.NAOK=="A6" AND b1_5.NAOK=="A8" AND b1_6.NAOK=="A7",1,0),if(a30.NAOK == "A4",1,0), if(a55.NAOK == "A3",1,0))}

Then the score is stored in the result table as "eqTotalScore".

Show how often a question was answered correctly in the statistics.

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Hi, maria,

I would create a hidden single question with two answer options "1= true - 2=false".
With an (also hidden) equation you set the value.

Like
{QResult=if(A3_SQ001.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ002.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ003.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ004.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ005.NAOK=="A2",1,2)}

Example: Here the result question is still visible.

Now you have a variable in the dataset with the result.

Show how often a question was answered correctly in the statistics.

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Dear all :)

I´ve created a quiz and for each answer I´d like to see in the statistics how often it was answered correctly and how often incorrectly.

I already successfully created a code that shows the participant weather he answered correctly or not directly after having answered the question.

Let´s have a look at this exemplary question:

Du hast keine Berechtigung, um diese Seite zu betreten!

This is the code:
{if(A3_SQ001.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ002.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ003.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ004.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ005.NAOK=="A2","You answered correctly.","")}   {if(A3_SQ001.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ002.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ003.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ004.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ005.NAOK=="A2","","Incorrect. Statements no. 1 and 2 are correct.")}

But in this case it´s not possible to see how many times the question has been answered correctly or incorrect in the statistics. I just see how many times the question was answered since it´s always the same text block that is popping up.

An approach would be to create two text boxes. The first should just pop up in case that the question has been answered correctly and the second text box in case that the question has been answered incorrect. This would make it possible to see how often the question has been answered correctly and incorrect.

But unfortunately I don´t know how to adjujust the syntax for the two text boxes. The first should pop up in case that all 5 statements have been answered correctly, the second if at least 1 question has been answered false.

In each case the text block should just pop up after the participant has answered all 5 statements.

By now I used this relevance equation to make sure that the text block is just popping up after having answered all questions but I´m not sure if it needs to be adjusted( since now in addition to this condition, the answers needs to be correct or incorrect.)
Du hast keine Berechtigung, um diese Seite zu betreten!

What would the syntax look like for each case ("correct" and "incorrect" text block? And how do I need to adjust the relevance equations for each case ?

Please find here the question in lsg format

Save overall score for the statistics

Kategorie: Can I do this with LimeSurvey?

Dear all,

I´ve created a survey and on the last page the overall score is calculated so that the participant can see how many answers he answered correctly.

Unfortunately this score is not saved in the statistis but I´d like to see an overview of the overall results for my participants. Is it possible to save the overall results so that I can display them in the statistis?

If yes, what would be an approach for this and what would the syntax look like?

my syntax for creating the overall score looks like this:
You scored correctly on {sum(if(a2.NAOK == "A2",1,0),if(Q00003.NAOK == "A1",1,0),if(a99.NAOK == "A7",1,0),if(A13.NAOK == "A4",1,0),if(A3_SQ001.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ002.NAOK=="A1" AND A3_SQ003.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ004.NAOK=="A2" AND A3_SQ005.NAOK=="A2",1,0),if(a15.NAOK == "A1",1,0),if(a17.NAOK == "A2",1,0),if(b1_1.NAOK=="A3" AND b1_2.NAOK=="A4" AND b1_3.NAOK=="A5" AND b1_4.NAOK=="A6" AND b1_5.NAOK=="A8" AND b1_6.NAOK=="A7",1,0),if(a30.NAOK == "A4",1,0), if(a55.NAOK == "A3",1,0))} of the 10 questions.
