How to use Expression Manager in Javascript? was created by AndyKingston
Hi!

I am developing a mobile application to communicate with the LimeSurvey API. I am using PhoneGap platform which uses Javascript.

I would like to know how I can implement Question conditions and branching using Expression Manager in Javascript? ie. Question 2 will display based on answer from Question 1.

If you require more info, please ask me.

Please help. Thanks.

You will find a good description here: manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager
Or did you meant something else?

Hi Orvil,

Thank you for your answer.

But I am developing it on Phonegap, using LimeSurvey API. I get the questions from the API and display it on the Phonegap app.

How can I use Expression Manager in Phonegap(which uses Javascript) to do branching?

Please advise. Thanks.

As far as I know one has to use the API functions from php, R, Phyton, NodeJS etc. But sorry I don't know a way to use JS to call the EM externally.
