Database not recognized with version 4 of LimeSurvey was created by wf_121
Hello,
I'm trying to install LimeSurvey version 4 on a webserver, however, I can't get the database to work. The database runs on Postgres on another server. When running the installer, after entering the database IP, port, user, etc, I always get a "database doesn't exist!" message.
However, the database does exist, and it runs fine when using LimeSurvey 3.22.8 on the very same server, so it seems it isn't a database or an access issue.
I've tried using version 4.1.10 and version 4.0.1, with the same results.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I recommend to report this as a bug. There might be already entries in the bugtracker, but your configuration might differ. So feel free to open a new bugticket.

By the way: If you install 4.x for testing purposes you are fine.
I personally wouldn't use it in productive environments yet.

Thank you for the help. We've decided to use the 3.22 version instead.
