I'm working with the current github version.

I wanted to change some text in a question. So I went to translate.limesurvey.org and got the .po. I compiled a new en.mo from it.

I'm new to this, but the process straight forward easy enough. I used poedit on Linux.

My generated .mo was surprisingly smaller:
6415 en.mo

vs the github version:

7213 en.mo

I only changed one question and the text size was very similar.

Is there some reason the github en.mo is larger? I feel like I will be missing text if I my I use my compiled version. Maybe I didn't do this edit right?

Is there some place the en.po can be obtained for the github dev version?

Thanks.

I think poedit can do some optimisation.
I think limesurvey mo files are autogenerated by translate.limesurvey.org/ ( glotpress.blog/ ) then maybe didn't use same optimisation ?

My mo files are generated by poedit for french : gitlab.com/SondagesPro/managament/respon...ree/master/locale/fr maybe can compare with translate.sondages.pro/projects/response...ndmanage/fr/default/
