Hello all

Got some problems with my hoster on installing limesurvey.
They have a few mysql installations with different version numbers.

On one of the serververs I have no problem.
All the other ones I got weird errors in the CSS.

See my attachments.

What is going wrong.
Is this my fault or my hosters fault?

seems to be different errors.
for the UniqueNotification has, see:
www.limesurvey.org/forum/installation-a-...ation-hash-in-2-59-0

For CSS frontend, try turning debug mode off (if related to browser cache, with debug mode off, the asset manager will handle the cache problem)

For installer, I'd say all the files has not been copied correctly.

Can you provide a link to your installations?

Hi Louis

Thnx for answering

The link to the install or website is:
www.ce.qcp-bv.nl

For the UniqueNotification error I installed the patch and that worked.

Only got problems with the CSS and the further working.

so, here my bet: your /tmp directory is a symlink.

Louis

What do you mean by a symlink?

first, I'm no 100% sure, it's a bet.

But have a look to your CSS files. The one in tmp are not loaded :
www.ce.qcp-bv.nl/tmp/assets/e645bc52/css/font-awesome.min.css

It throws a WebKnight Application Firewall Alert.

But, CSS files outside tmp are loaded correctly, like:
www.ce.qcp-bv.nl/installer/css/main.css

So it means that the tmp/ directory has something special forbidden by WebKnight: it can be that your tmp is a symLink directory (it's not a real subdirectory, but a link to another directory somewhere else in the file system, and your WebKnight configuration forbidden to follow those symlinks ), it could also be a simple permission problem on that directory, or something else.

Whatever is the problem: have a look to your WebKnight configuration.

No

It is not ok right now.
I want to upload an existing survey (.lss)

I get this message(see image)

I hope you can tell me again what is wrong.
But how can you edit my CSS file?

well, to be honest:
1. It was a problem related to your hosting configuration
2. Your hosting provider could have checked the CSS files like I just did to find the problem

so, I did their job: they should consider a donation to LimeSurvey
