Hello there,

Just updated my install of LimeSurvey as explained in the docs. Updated all files except application/config and upload directories.

But when I access the admin panel, it still show 2.50+ from august, even I updated it to the latest stable version from november.

How can I make this work? This should work manually, as the comfort update is just the automatic process or am I wrong?

that's the problem... you need to update those files too except application/config/config.php file.
FYI:
1) this file does not exist in LS ≥ 2.00 original packages, because it will be created during the installation process
2) LS software version + build number + db version are included in application/config/version.php

Oups... obviously you don't have to update the upload directory if you are using custom templates

best way to avoid those kind of problems is to use comfortUpdate.

I nver add issue with manual update (excpet with BIG DB update sometimes).

Maybe you file application/config/versqion.php was not updated . If this one was not updated : surely others are not updated too ....
