If yes : personnal admin theme are more a hack than a feature in 2.06 and older version, then yes : don't think we do something.

For public part (templates) : old templates can be used in 2.5 actually . Surely some fix to template to do before.

public templates is what I meant.

I've just tested this is issue again on 2.50+ (Build 160206) and I'm not even able to change the template for a given survey. I've gone through all the needed steps: Select the survey -> Survey Properties -> General Settings -> Presentation and Navigation -> Chose the template from Template combo -> Click Save.

No error occurs, nevertheless the template won't change.

So I was actually complaining about the fact that I can't switch survey template. Sorry for the confusion.

Anyway the real problem is that 2.50+ will require to adapt all your current surveys to the new DOM structure used in questions layout.

With adapting I mean:

- change the public templates

- change any custom js snippet injected in the page that deal with objects DOM manipulation.

I don't about others but in my shop this means spending even one day per quest.

But you can try to put config.xml files in your old template with :
