I am new to limesurvey and I am trying to investigate an issue.
Many of the survey outgoing emails aren't delivered with an error:
Unauthenticated email from <DOMAIN> is not accepted due to domain's DMARC policy.

The environment is setup to use SMTP server which send the emails from domainX.
The survey that fails to send emails has been setup to have an admin email in a domain different than the one setup in global settings.
For example in global settings the default admin email is xx@domainx and in the survey the admin email is yy@domainY.

As a result the emails aren't delivered.

How do you suggest solving this? Can I in limesurvey restrict survey admin emails to be sent by the mailserver domain with a reply to equal to survey admin email that could be in a different domain?

I encountered this issue when LS was emailing to btinternet - the solution is probably making changes to your DNS settings rather than LS.

Here's a guide: www.techrepublic.com/blog/google-in-the-...r-domain-with-dmarc/
