Statistics - incomplete SQL query (?)

Dear programmers of LimeSurvey,

I am grateful for this software - I will be soon, I guess! Because right now I am not able to receive any interpretation inside LimeSurvey. I am getting the following error message:

Interner Serverfehler
CDbCommand konnte das SQL-Statement nicht ausführen: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') AND `viewsummaryall` IN) AND `noncompleted` IN) AND `statlang` IN) AND `output' at line 1

The error is reproducible.

Help will be greatly appreciated
Simon.

PS: I should mention that I am running LimeSurvey Version 3.0.1+171228

Which Version of LimeSurvey is used? Exact version. Not statements like the newest etc.
Which version of MySQL and PHP is used?
Looks like your MySQL database is not understanding the SQLquery.
Where is the LimeSurvey installation hosted? Webhostingpackage?
Did you update LimeSurvey? Did your provider updated PHP / MySQL?

Reproducible in which way?
Try the following:
Create a new survey. 1 question. Activate it and answer it.
Go to statistics and try to reproduce the error with the new survey.

Is Version 3.0.1+171228 an update oder a fresh installation?

Check if your hosting environment is compatible:

Version 3.0.1+171228 requirements:
*MySQL 5.5.3 or later OR Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later OR Postgres 8.1 or later
*PHP 5.5.9 or later with the following modules/libraries enabled:
*mbstring (Multibyte String Functions) extension library
*PDO database driver for MySQL (pdo_mysql or pdo_mysqli) or Postgres (pdo_pgsql) or MSSQL (pdo_sqlsrv for Windows and pdo_dblib for Linux)

Thank you, yes, I should have mentioned:

LimeSurvey runs on a shared server of all-inkl.com/ .

PHP version: 7.0
MySQL version: 5.0

Reproducible is supposed to mean, that every statistics query in different surveys ended the way I described.

Thank you!

I am contacting my provider about MySQL...

By the way: It was a completely fresh installation.

The SQL version should not be the problem as my (shared) server runs 5.6.38...

Since the installation process was smooth once I had manually and primarily created the database, I do not understand what is wrong: Does anyone have any idea?

It can be a bug in the LimeSurvey code. LS 3.0.1 can contain bugs with this impact. So you might open a bugticket.

Dear jelo,

thank you for your time! I am running my first installation of LimeSurvey - and had not asked questions in any forum like this one before. You hinted me at the essential information.

I opened a bugticket.

Good luck
Simon.

For others with the same issue it is a good idea to leave a link in the thread.

The bugticket can be found here:
bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=13117

You might download an older version of LimeSurvey here.
github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/releases
But older ones 2.X have a different template system. If you can afford to wait, wait for LS 3.0 to run smooth.
