change english text in german survey was created by KompetenzZ
Hi,

Can you please help me to change this English text in my German survey. See screenshot/lss. I looked in the po file and the right translation of "Total:" is "Gesamt:", which is written already there. I have have no idea why this text is shown in English. How can I change it? I tried it with javascript but the class of "Total:" and the class of the sub questions are the same, so I can't reference it properly:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
  $(document).ready(function(){
                $('#question{QID} .control-label.col-xs-12.col-sm-4').text('Gesamt:');
  });
</script>

That is a resolved bug so updating should fix the problem - bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=14294

Thank you, as far as I figured it out, the hosted version (3.15.5) is automatically up to date. Is this true? I tried it with the hosted limesurvey and still the "Total:" is in English. See test link:

Ok, I think I have to explain it in more detail. I just tested with limequery (hosted version) whether the bug is solved in the newest version. I do not want to use limequery for my survey, I just don't know if it is worth to update from Version 3.14 to Version 3.15.5, because I never did it before and I don't know how to "back up my database". Additionally, I don't really know if the bug is really fixed since it is there in limequery.
Isn't there a quick fix with javascript? So far I tried something with ".replace" but I have not achieved it.

It's not fixed in 3.15.5. The fix was done 14 days ago. 3.15.5 was released on 15th Nov. 2018. So no release contains the bugfix.

And to be honest: "Total" is totally fine in German as well. Any German speaker should understand that. So I wouldn't worry too much about that anyway. Needs to be fixed, yes. But it is not a "show stopper".
