Hello,

is it possible to deactivate and grey out a question instead of completely hiding it, when relevance or condition rules would normally hide it?

Thx, regards, S.

I'm using the hosted LimeSurvey Pro version (at least 3.15) on LS servers, AND also the locally installed xampp version as well (at least 3.15).

No, I don't think so. At least not out of the box.

You might be able to create something via Javascript, but this would mean custom coding.

You can for dynamic hidden question. Just some line of css.

For example, just add this to custom.css
Code:
.js .ls-irrelevant.ls-hidden{display:block;opacity:0.5}

If you want to update input disabled attribute : must use javascript , get inspiration : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/ma...survey/survey.js#L22

This one just add the ls-hidden class, but you can do anything else in custom.js

Wow, DenisChenu, thx! That's what I was hoping for.

However, now this lead me to another "problem":

The question which can get activated and deactivated has option buttons. Of course, when it is activated, those option buttons can be set to a value. If afterwards the condition changes again (checkmark on the same page) and the options-question gets deactivated again, the set values for the options-question stay (though greyed out).

Is it possible to not just deactivate the question but at the same time reset all its answers to the initial value?
