Some of the text in my subquestions are cutting the word off in the middle with a dash. I'd rather that the word go to the next line. I've adjusted the subquestion textbox size and it fixes some of the problems, but is there a setting I can check so it doesn't include dashes/break the words at all?

That is no wrapping but hyphenation, which is also done by the browser.
You can control that via the theme/css.
