question timer settings gone? was created by Siem
I wanted to set a timer for a question, but the option is gone from the menu. It is there for other surveys I created.
Did I perhaps miss a setting somewhere?

Multiple short text had no timer in older versions as well.
Check e.g. single choice radio or text display. They should show a timer option in your LimeSurvey installation.

I asked you about the LimeSurvey version and question-types where you used the timer-settings.
In my experience there was never a timer setting for question-type multiple short text.
I have checked that in older (LS 2.6.7) and the newest version ( 3.14.9) LimeSurvey.
There is no timer setting for this question type available.

yes you were right, I thought all questions had a timer setting. I managed to create a text-field question that had a timer and then hid that question with css, then I moved the timer from that question with jquery to the header in order to have a timer for this survey.
