Save and Resume Later - Completes Survey was created by zaklime
Hi,
When a user Saves and Resumes Later the participant enters there info to retrieve their answers after pressing the button to continue their survey is completed, they receive the completion notification and finished survey email notifications are sent.
How do allow a participant to SAVE and RESUME later without the survey being completed?
thanks
Zak

That sounds like a bug. If you are using the latest version, please file a bug report, including a test survey (.lss) file.

Hi,
It seems that when the survey is Saved using Chrome everything works as should. When using ie11 the survey completes and if you used edge the survey does not save correctly.
How do create a .lss?
thanks
Zak

Zak, where is your LimeSurvey installation hosted? And what version of LimeSurvey is used. When you click on the version number in the footer you get additional infos about the servertechnology used.

Are you using a survey with a displaymode group by group?
If yes, how many groups are in the survey. Is the issue reproducible at every position in the survey.
Your options currently are
1.) updating Limesurey in the hope that the issue was already fixed
2.) Submitting your own bug report via the bug tracker

Depending on your survey structure it might be related to the bug I posted above. If resume is used the resume takes place at the group level.zaklime wrote: But not sure how that helps the variation in different browsers?
