Is there a way to upload the SkeletonQuest template into LimeSurvey 3.6? I'm getting an error when trying to import it.
I guess the structure is different now in 3.6 version.

I got the SkeletonQuest template from their webpage - versions are for LimeSurvey 2.05 and up. But it seems old now for 3.6.

easy answer: No.

The template (now called "theme") structure changed from the 2.05/2.06 branch to the 2.50-2.74 branch, and again in the 3.x branch.

This is communicated several times.

Since LimeSurvey 2.50, the theme engine use Bootstrap 3 as CSS framework. Bootstrap 3 being a standard framework, developers will find a lot of documentation, tutorials and forum threads about it on Internet.


Since LimeSurvey 3, the theme engine use Twig, so the theme developers can change the logic of the survey rendering in a safe and easy way. Twig replace the old system of replacement keywords that was used in the previous versions. The logic that was used to generate the HTML of the keywords are now available inside the theme's views.

Oh, I see. That's a pity. I have a modified version of your template (used before in my organization) and wanted to use it again but on a newer version of LimeSurvey.
