Hello,

I'm a very fresh LimeSurvey user and I must admit - I'm lost.

I want to create a survey in which questions will be audio files (and answers will be text). I've already read about how to embed audio files in questions but I still can't figure out how to upload the files I want to use to LimeSurvey.

I'll be grateful for an explanation. I suppose it's actually quite easy to do but I just can't find a way to do it.

Thanks!

Hello,
it's not possible to upload in the template editor (mp3 files are not allowed).
But you can upload by any ftp client (Filezilla, etc) to any place in the web.

Enter
Code:
<audio autoplay=""><source src="http://www.example.com/path_to_file.mp3" type="audio/mpeg" /> <source src="http://www.example.com/path_to_file.wav" type="audio/wav" /> Your browser does not support the audio element.</audio>
to the question text (in source code mode).

Regards
Joffm

I have personally never tried it, but you should be able to upload them as "resources":

manual.limesurvey.org/Resources

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

You can upload mp3 files with the "video" files button in the WYSIWYG editor. I was just playing around with this today.
