Problem with Multiple Choice Questions

More
7 years 2 months ago #147104 by kc09
I am trying to have a Multiple Choice "check all the apply" question. Unfortunately, the answer options are stacked on top of the text (a line above), instead of being next to the next (on the same line). This is in Limesurvey 2.58 and was not a problem on the old version. Please see the attached image.

Also, the automatic sizes for the text boxes in the "Huge Free Text" questions are very small.

Please advise if you may know how to resolve these issues.

Hi, kc09,
you say you use LS 2.58, but you use a template of the 2.05/2.06(2.6) branch.
Many times is written that these "old" templates are not (fully) compatible with the 2.50 branch.

So, you should find out (by Firebug or other Web Development tools), which css classes are affected in the display of your question
Maybe you can change something.

Unfortunately I have not such a combination of "new" LS and "old" template", that I cannot test an have a look by myself.

Best regards
Joffm

I'd say you can do that with CSS.

I'd say you can do that with CSS.

Yes, it almost certainly could be fixed with CSS but, as Joffm points out, most 2.06 templates are not compatible with 2.5x and are not responsive. I recommend using one of the 2.5x shipped templates.
