I have translated a LimeSurvey to French, the original version is German.
Now there is one question of the type "list with comment".
I managed to translate the radio options, but where do I find the label for the textarea?
It is still in German ("Ergänzende Informationen können Sie hier eintragen")?

Sound like a bug in the translation file. What exact version of LimeSurvey is used?

For french there seem to be 6 missing translations. But not sure if your case is one of them.

Then I doubt there will be any update. This version is not supported anymore and will not receive any bug fixes.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

If you cannot fix the translation, place something like this script in the source of the French question text:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">

  $(document).ready(function() {

    $('#question{QID} p.comment label').text("My new comment label:");
  });
</script>

Cheers,

Button Next show «Suivant» ?

Because it's not a translation issue : if it's translation issue : it shown in english not in german.
Do you really set language to fr ? You didn't leave german ?

Yes, everything else is translated to French, except for this little sentence.
In the backend I can "edit the answer options" for the radio buttons, but not for the additional textarea.
I decompiled the German and French .mo-files to .po-files and searched for the sentence, but I could not find it in any of them.
I also tried Tony's solution, but the JavaScript is not inserted.

Why not?

Did you try a simple alert?

But why you don't update to last 2.73 version ? Maybe a dev put a german string here …

I really think it can‘t happen with a stable version …
