Showing certain randomized groups was created by MariaLitovskaya
Hey,
I'm trying to create a questionnaire for my Bachelor Thesis now and have a problem with group randomization. I have 7 groups(A,B,C,D,E,F,G). Group G has to be always shown to the participants. And only 4 out of groups A-F have to be shown to each participant in a random order. How could I achieve it?
Probably somebody could help me with it, as I have no experience in programming.

There habe been quite a few posts about that, I recall one just this week. With questions this would be pretty easy, but with groups you probably need to use Javascript, if I recall right.
Here is a workaround, but it probably won't work for the latest versions of LS. It is always important to mention which version you are using.

Have a look in the forum, I remember someone asked just this question a couple of days ago. You'll probably find a solution for newer versions there.

I'm using Version 2.64.7+170404. Could it work?

Probably not, because there have been significant changes from 2.06 to 2.6x in the templates/themes and LS in general.

I'm not sure when relevanceStatus was introduced, but something like this may work -

But randomisation + relevanceStatus are sometimes unstable between version
Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
