I'd like to take the text from a list type question with radio buttons and the optional Other response and I would like to pipe the text that the user provides in the Other field into a subsequent question.

For example my list type question gives three colors to select as their favourite, plus the Option to specify their own colour.

I would like to take the text the participant entered in the Other field and pipe it into a following question like,

What do you like most about the color [replace with color]?

If the question code is Q1 then in the second question you can put {Q1_other.shown}.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this, and it doesn't seem to work {Q1_other.shown} is flagged as an undefined variable. See attached LSS example.

Hi, you wrote that you want to refer to radio button with other option question. In the attached example you are using multiple choice question with comments. I'm not really sure what you want to pass to the next question but if the other comment you can put: {Q1_SQ003comment.shown}
