Limit the Amount of Participants? was created by DarioSto
Hey there,

Is it possible to set a participant limit of e.g. 250 people to a LimeSurvey?
I need the Survey to either deactivate after the 250th Person completely finished the questionnaire, or to show a Notification on the first page telling the participants that the Count of 250 is reached and that the study is closed.

Thanks! Help appreciated!

This is a little tricky, because there is no direct out of the box solution for this. However, there is a way to do this with quota. I think Tpartner posted a solution somewhere here on the forum.

The solution consists of something like a single choice question with only one answer option and this answer option needs to be default answer. Then this question is hidden via CSS and you set a quota of 250 for this answer. This should screen out everyone if the survey has reached a total of n=250 responses.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
