I would like to use Lime Survey for Participatory Budgeting.


That means using it as a voting system, but instead of voting for people, budgets are created by voting for resource allocation.

Has anyone done this before, and can anyone suggest widgets and guidelines for holding such a vote?

The 10-element array looks like a good candidate for a widget to elicit the relative importance of different budget (spending) categories.

I'm going to recommend LimeSurvey as the tool of choice to people interested in a tool for Participatory Budgeting.
