Sadly I did not reset the old survey, or duplicate the old survey before sending out the link to a new survey. The new results are now compiled with the answers to the previous survey. Is there a way to separate the new results from the old? Thank you

Is it a problem that the results are there? If not, you could just leave them there until the survey is finished. You should have the date of the interviews and you can easily see what is new and what is old. You just have to keep in mind that there have been already X results in the database from the old survey before you started the new survey.
Do the old results bother you (e.g. because you want to get a glimps of the new results in the statistics), then you could download the results as CSV/Excel to have it saved/backuped and then delete the old results from the database. Of course, depending on the amount of results that can be tedious and you need to watch out that you do not delete new results.
I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
