Especially for people that are visually impaired, designing a survey is a challenge.
Although great work has already been done, we now see the opportunity to invest time in further developing features for people that have a hard time reading or otherwise fill in a questionnaire.

We want to start a project that will result in an open source add-on (or core development) for limesurvey, dedicated to more accessibility.

I think you can try to contact lstrange on the forum. If i remind : he know a lot accessibility issue in LimeSUrvey 2.6 (06) branch ADMIN part.

Because he made some accessibility bug for admin part some month/year ago.

Else: for 3.0 : i think we need to fix ALL a11y issue + have a AAA on rgaa (french refrence :https://github.com/DISIC/rgaa_referentiel) , something like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Content_Access..._Guidelines#WCAG_2.0 .

I have a www.tanaguru.com/fr/ account : really a great tool for accessibility test.

Currently : in my point of view admin part is totally broken, it's better in 2.6lts .
