Survey ID call was created by brewski
I had someone write a custom output to a survey. I'm trying to update a survey, which I did by copying the live survey and making the edits, then activating the new survey.
The challenge is, the DB is called in the code (PHP).
$_GET is used to call the id of the "it" survey.
I can't see in limesurvey anywhere that just "it" is used in the survey name, hence, I don't know what the new survey I've created would be called.
I know this is rather vague, but any thoughts?

Post the current script here and people might be able to help.
Or you could just ask the person that custom coded this for you.

This is the pertinent section:
// what surveys are we using (admin,it)
$surveys = array("admin"=>$_GET,"it"=>$_GET);
// get current company's token
$token = $_GET;
// what surveys are we using (admin,it)
$surveys = array("admin"=>$_GET,"it"=>$_GET);
// get current company's token
$token = $_GET;

This seems to be a very small excerpt of the whole script.
I am not an expert, but I assume that they check if the person is an admin or belongs to the IT department (maybe you have users or user groups called "admin" or "it" in your LS installation)?

please, formulate a question. I read your post thrice, and I see only one question:
"I know this is rather vague, but any thoughts?"
yes, I think it's rather vague.
Now, what is your real question?

The threadstarter seems to try to get the surveyid of the current selected survey in LimeSurvey GUI.

But i don't think it's this $_GET is clearly not related to LimeSurvey …

I assume that this someone created a custom script to read out the database to deliver the custom output (report, I guess).
Now the survey ID has changed and the output doesn't work anymore.

I appreciate the input folks.
@DenisChenu got me going in the right direction, as he was correct that call is not a call to the limesurvey db.
As I don't have time to unscramble this mess, I'm calling this complete and will post a new question to to the forum.
Thanks again all.
