I have a question of "place of residence" and I want to be the most exact in the definition.
In the "place of residence" there is Palestine.
Should I use it as "PS - state of Palestine" or "PS - Palestinian Authority (disputed territories AKA Judea and Samaria)"?
Or maybe use both?

Also, are there more areas that are in dispute that I should know about for this matter?

As this forum is about the software Limesurvey, I don't think any of the sub forums here is the right one. So yes, outside of Limesurvey.

You are asking about how you should call a certain country, which is certainly not the scope of this forum (which is about the survey software). It is not a software issue and it is not even a real "research issue".

I don't know what to search for. You will need to find articles about the topic.

I personally would probably go with whatever the UN is calling Palestine. No matter what you call it, as it is disputed there will always one side that is not happy with it. So go with what one of the most influential international authorities in this aspect says. At least you can blame them later.

But as said before, we are no experts on this topic, so you'd rather find a site/forum that has more knowledge about this topic. But at the end of the day, no one can really make the decision for you.
