Hello. I've been searching the documentation but am having difficulty getting this to work.

Conducting a survey for an elder center where the participants choose what "station" they last saw a nurse occupying.

I have a radio button question called "station"
the answers are numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.

So:

Question Code: station
Answer codes: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

When I input {station} into subject line of detailed admin notification I get the "number" or 2 on the subject line and the body of the message, which contained {VERIFICATION} contains that actual word "VERIFICATION".

I think the number 2 in the subject is correctly identifying the correct radio button number 2, but I need the "Answer options" not the code to show.

And I have no idea why anything isn't showing up in the body of the message.

What is explained here doesn't work:

Nor does what is explained here:

I see here:
manual.limesurvey.org/Email_templates#Email_templates_fields
all the information/fields that can be contained in an email template, but it would appear that the fields I need cannot go in there.
Is that correct?

To display the answer label instead of the code, use {station.shown}.

- manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager...#Access_to_variables

I don't know about "VERIFICATION". Where is that from?

Cheers,

Sorry "verification" is my name for the "station" example field. However, when I do enter {verification.shown} the subject line for the administrator emaill subject the following html code displaying on the received email:

Response submission for survey plus <span class='em-expression em-haveerror' ><span class='em-error'><span title='Undefined variable' class='em-var em-var-error' >VERIFICATION</span></span><span class='em-error'> : </span><span class='em-error'><span title='Undefined variable' class='em-var em-var-error' >SHOWN</span></span></span>

1. shown not SHOWN
2. Are you sure to have a single question with code VERIFICATION, maybe it's verification ?

To Denis' point, all variable names are case-sensitive.
