Dual array different scales was created by Carolyn2017
I have an array where I want people to specific incidents that have happened to them, so scale 1 is multiple sub-questions, but then in the 2nd scale, only 1 of sub question options can be identified.
thanks

Hi,
your question is not very clear.

Because an array usually has more than one subquestions, I assume you talk about answer options.
Or?

So you want to have some kind of array(numbers) with checkbox layouut in scale 1 and a "normal" array in scale 2?
Or?

As usual the best is to send your question as *.lss export. I have no idea what your subquestions are?

Best regards
Joffm

Thanks Joffm
Yes, my question was not clear.
Q24 - My subquestion statements "are a series of events", there are 9
The first answer option (1), which of these events happened, so on the first answer option they can choose more than 1 subquestion.
On the 2nd answer option(2), they are asked which of the subquestion statements was the most intense, so only 1 of the subquestion statements can be chosen.
Maybe a dual scale was not the right format? because it is like joining a muliple choice and a radio question together?
sorry for my silly questions, I have not done such a complex survey as the one I am doing, usually something much simpler.

So, why do you ask the same again?
You have the solution - really easy and built-in - for your questions.
There is the multiple question with the setting:

Then there is the single question with:
a. relevance equation (you don't need to check the "None" option. It is exclusive, so the count is only "1"

b. array filter

Then you get:
"None" is exclusive

Only one item selected

More than one item selected

And here the sample survey

I chose "group by group" for better display. If you want to display "question by question", feel free to do so.
