I tried to create a new theme in LS 3.8.7 by extending an existing one (vanilla).
I also added a custom.js and a custom css.
Unfortunately it does not work because in the page head both are still linked to the old theme, while other files I created and added are linked to the new one.
Any ideas what I have done wrong?
P.S./edit: I encountered the linking to the parent theme by setting debug mode to 1, so no cache is used.
