Can I retrieve randomization order? was created by kelseysutton18
So, I was havign some issues do to being relatively inexperienced compared to most with this program. I made a survey, question-by-question with three groups. The main group, Aud1, contains 80 vocal recordings that are meant to be randomly presented for every respondent (I used the randomization group feature, and this DID work fine). After listening to the clips, they then completed questions based on the clip which are in the same order every time

File Size:857 KB
: Intensity of the emotion (array), what emotions they thought they heard (multiple choice), and how much of each emotion they believed they heard (array with the array filter using chosen options from the previous question). See .lss file if you want to take a look.

Once exported, the data does not take into account the stimuli randomization, and instead I cannot link the ratings to which audio clip they are supposed to be connected with. In hindsight, I should have just made a bunch of separate groups. But is there a way I can retrieve the actual order in which participants were presented the questions? Or even using the Save timings feature, is there a way I could see the time in a format such as, how long after beginning they completed each question (for example, person A began at 18:30, they finished viewing the first screen at 18:35, and so on)?

Thank you for any help in advance!

No, that information is NOT saved and lost.

Did you export the timings?

I am afraid I am unaware of any method you can use to retrieve your data. I hope I will stand corrected :(.

@jelo, is there any way to use timings to try to guess the question order?

Except with javascript way or plugin way : no solution.

[edit] And no solution after it's done (@jelo have totally right)

And no existing workaround (php or js) to do so currently (not to my knowledge).

We are talking about a finished project. So what kind of workaround would reveal the order now?
I would say none. If the timings would be timestamps (haven't looked it up) for every question, it might be possible to reconstruct the order. Being able to save the random order would help finding issue too. So it is a feature request.
