I'd like to restrict respondents to selecting a past date (ideally gray out any future dates from selection) using the date question type. We've found that people don't pay attention to the year and often pick dates in the future for a question that asks about a past behavior.

I found this post which basically asks the same question but I cannot seem to figure out where to put the code.

If you have good idea : maybe you can report issue at the bug tracker (there are a categories Documentation).

And it's a wiki : then you can edit it yourself.

Quick follow-up question, how do I hide the tip that shows up with the date restriction? I clicked on "hide tip" to yes but it's still showing up, I feel like it's pretty confusing to get the tip when I've already put in a date before today.
