Turning off hyphenation was created by BBCMResearch
Is it possible to turn off the new hyphenation feature that was introduced in Version 2.5+160512 ( www.limesurvey.org/limesurvey-updates/19...uild-160512-released )?

If so, I imagine that I'd have to make the change at the template level, however I don't really have a strong grasp of java or css, basicallyjust enough to implement small changes or suggestions from this forum, so any guidance on where and what exactly to do would be most appreciated.

Using LS Version 2.50+160901

Thanks!

Assuming you are using a copy of one of the shipped templates,tTry adding this to the end of template.css:

Code:
#outerframeContainer {
    hyphens: none;
    word-wrap: none;
}

I made a copy of the default template just to use with this piece of code, but so far, it's not working.

I did add it to the very end of css/template.css (Lines 1084-1087), but the stupidly long title of my survey on the opening page is still hyphenated.

Hyphenation is also only a problem in IE. Unfortunately, that's all my client uses, otherwise LimeSurvey seems to use word-wrapping just fine in both Chrome and FireFox.

Can you activate a test survey and provide a link so we can see the source?

I see no hyphenation and do see your styles added at line 1084. Try clearing your cache before testing or test in an incognito browser window.

In general, instead of clearing your cache, turn debug mode off to activate the asset manager.
